Evia B. Moore Senior Education Program

One of the pioneering members of the M. R. Conic Foundation, Evia B. Moore, worked many years on the “A New Beginning” project.  An educator and graduate of Rust College, Mrs. Moore believed in empowering seniors to be independent and active.

A New Beginning offers workshops in the areas of senior advocacy and education, computer literacy, healthy living and awareness, home safety, and financial planning.  To support Sister Moore’s vision, there are plans to create dedicated spaces for computer lab, community choir, and healthy cooking workshops.
